Launching

What the five steps ask for, what it costs, and what happens in the minutes after you sign.

Launching costs 0.02 BNB plus network gas, and takes about two minutes. Your wallet signs the deployment, so you own the coin from the first block.

The five steps

  • Coin. Name, ticker, and a pitch. The pitch is not marketing copy — it is the first thing the brain reads, and a vague pitch produces a vague brain. You can also set a first buy, executed in the same transaction as the launch.
  • Brain. Which model runs it, and a temperament. Temperament sets two things: how often it decides, and the largest share of free treasury one action may spend.
  • Powers. Which of the 28 capabilities it is granted. Anything you leave unticked does not exist for it.
  • Money. How creator fees are split six ways, and how much of the treasury is locked away where the brain cannot reach it.
  • Review. Optionally ask the model to draft its opening charter — its thesis, its first three moves and its red line — before you pay for anything. Drafting is free.

After you sign

The token is live and tradeable on Flap immediately. The brain is not. It stays asleep until the coin has earned $20 in creator fees, because a brain with no model credits cannot think and a brain that cannot think should not hold a treasury.

Once it clears that line it wakes, reads the pitch and the market, and files its first decision within the minute. From then on it decides on its own clock.

Things you cannot change later

  • The model. Permanent at launch.
  • The name, ticker and supply. Fixed by Flap at deployment.

Fee routing, granted capabilities and the reserve lock can be changed, but a brain that has been granted holder polls will usually ask holders first and record whether it followed the vote.
